Stars & Stripes Plumbing – Terms of Service

1. Scope of Work

Stars & Stripes Plumbing provides residential plumbing services as described in the written estimate, invoice, or
work authorization. Services outside the approved scope require separate authorization. Septic system service is
not provided.

2. Dispatch / Service Fee

A dispatch or service fee applies to diagnosis, estimates, and emergency response. The customer acknowledges
this fee is earned once a technician is dispatched and is non-refundable if the appointment is canceled after
dispatch.

3. Estimates & Authorization

Pricing is provided after on-site evaluation. Work begins only after customer approval (written, digital, or recorded
verbal). Additional work requires separate authorization.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid balances may be subject to
collection or lien rights as permitted by Washington law.

5. Scheduling & Emergencies

Same-day service is reserved for true emergencies such as active leaks, burst pipes, or sewer backups.
Weekend service is not offered. Appointment times are estimated arrival windows.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide safe and clear access to work areas and disclose known plumbing or property issues.
Stars & Stripes Plumbing is not responsible for delays or damages caused by unsafe or inaccessible conditions.

7. Concealed Conditions

We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, code violations, or concealed conditions. Additional repairs
required due to hidden conditions will be discussed and approved separately.

8. Property Protection

Reasonable care is taken to protect the property. Cosmetic repairs (including drywall, paint, flooring, or
landscaping) are not included unless stated in writing.

9. Warranties

Labor warranties, if offered, are stated on the invoice. Manufacturer warranties apply to installed products.
Warranties do not cover misuse, freezing, lack of maintenance, or work altered by others.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Washington law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
performed.

11. Washington Lien Notice

Under Washington law, Stars & Stripes Plumbing may have the right to file a lien against the property for unpaid
labor or materials. This notice is provided in accordance with RCW 60.04.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be resolved in a
Washington court of proper jurisdiction.

13. Acceptance

By scheduling service or authorizing work, the customer agrees to these Terms of Service.
